MUST READ: The Decline of Trust

This is a very well written essay on the decline of trust by the American people of its own government, and the decline of trust in America around the world, even among its traditional allies. This is a process that began with the Vietnam War (the crucible where HAIR was made), and the chasm between the people and its elected leaders has only increased in fervor till today. Politicians always lied – that observation goes back to the Greeks – but American governments have been caught red-handed doing breathtakingly ghastly and repellent deeds lately. A real MUST READ…BS
