Oxford University lecturer and Fellow Tariq Ramadan is the author of “Western Muslims and the Future of Islam”, among other notable books. His is a courageous and eloquent voice for moderation in the Middle East. His credibility in both the Islamic and Eurapen parts of the world is enormous, due in par to his extensive studies in both cultures. His viewpoint would be a welcome addition to the fractured debate in this country that has degenerated into violence and Big Brother dictatorship tactics, thanks in part to an administration that does not reason and spits on the Bill of Rights.
