And regarding updating Romeo & Juliet to West Side
Story, etc. --- great ideas... but those were whole
new shows. West Side Story wasn't called Romeo &
Juliet. I think anyone here would love to see a new
play with the spirit of HAIR and modern issues... but
a play about finding peace and love and protesting war
in 2005 isn't HAIR. That's a totally different play,
just as Romeo & Juliet and West Side Story are totally
different plays.
