You know.. I am not so sure it wasn't the right place to do it. Yes, they were and are raising money to help these poor people, but the truth of the story is, if this had happened in the Hamptons instead of in a poor city populated by mainly blacks. You and I both know that "W" would have been on it before it even happened. I think that he was pissed off as I am guessing are most of Americans, and a lot of the world. You know.. the other noght I was watching RockstarINXS and this singer was booted off, And in his parting speach he said, SOmething on the lines of, One of the reasons he feels he was in the bottom three is because he was black. I kinda shrugged it off as an impulsive thing. BUt seeing how long it took Bush to get help to our own... truelly disturbs me. And now I wonder, is it because they were mostly black? I'd hate to think so. But even when they showed him down there hugging a couple of people.. which I am sure the secret service did full body cavity searches
 of
before hand. Most were white and one was a very light skinned black girl of maybe 12. Could our presedent be a racist? We already know he's not the smartest bulb on the tree. It truelly makes me sick.. But.. I got off topic.. I think maybe Kayne West saw his oppurtunity to speak to America live before he could be stiffled, and he took it. I say Good for him. You know everyone of those poor souls down south are thinking the same thing... Why? why? I hope this doesn't weigh on George's mind too much, it might mess up his golf swing. JIM

That was Kanye West. He got to say what he wanted; they just kept the camera off him.
While I wish to God that G.W. Bush could run for president again just so I could see
how badly he'd get trounced on in the election, the purpose was to raise money to help those people that Dubya is pretending don't need help; it wasn't a political forum. It wasn't the
place for that, and it wasn't the time for it.

Plus, they were given an hour to do their thing...when someone strays from
the script, there's gotta be an "Oh, shit!" moment in there...
