Thanks guys, nothing like best wishes to make my day!

It was the 16th Bev, but I started celebrating the 15th after a wonderful 
talk by Michael Dukakis to the West LA Democartic Club - I'm the new Events 
Chair of the Club. It's a great group of people, quite liberal and 
progressive and committed to change thru grassroots activisim.  If anyone 
here in LA is interested in joining us or coming to one of our monthly 
events let me know!

Back to birthday celebrations:  margharitas with Club friends after the 
Gov's talk; on my birthday Senor Osorio flew down from Berkeley and we went 
to dinner with my family and a few friends to Beacon, a fairly new 
restaurant in Culver City - excellent, don't miss it - chef/owner was at 
Spago and Chinois and the food as good with decent prices; next day, 
St.Patrick'sDay/Brithday party - all women, "Goddess" party - corned beef 
and cabbage, Irish Coffee, champagne and Goddess cards...
what could be better! Saturday a girlfriend from SF is flying down and 
taking me to lunch - I love these festivities that just keep on going...and 
going...

So I'm feeling wonderful, happy and ready for a new year.
