the future of shows
particularly in nyc
may lie in unconventional large scale bdwy size venues
not on bdwy
old opera houses scattered throughout the city
old ballrooms
churchs
where you can get 1500 - 2500 seats
and pay only about 20k/ week in rental expenses etc
and one is not crippled by concommitant union costs
