[Mb-hair] God within or without? That seems to be the question

It is not surprising to hear a man of the cloth arguing this question of
reliance on the community of religion to be our only salvation at this
time. I believe Ian, that you have misconstrued Michaels words. The only
mistake I believe you have made, is not recognising that being oneself,
is a remarkable evolutionary process, a sort of sculpture, painting,
poem of the reflection of our relationship with the natural sense of our
Spirit and The Supreme Being within us. This process, for want of a
better word, is the one started before, during and after our birth. It
began as an unwritten, unspoken, unexplainable sense of real.
Unfortunately it was capitalized on by those wishing to dominate others
by using their superstition to use them as soldiers, benefactors, and
slaves to their control.
Fear of hell, and not going to Heaven, was a nasty ploy on the innocent.
It has always been the individuals of religion that took their lives
into their own hands in partnership with the Divine to change the
definitions of mankinds values. The Divine lived in them and with them,
giving them the vision to see farther. On the other hand, though many
organised religions have undoubtably helped and supported those in need,
those same religions have tainted themselves by their use of power over
the innocent (bless their souls).
The concept of "Hair" and the sixties revolution was an awakening to the
natural sense of Spirit, the unwritten, unspoken and more felt
understanding of God.
