Dear Friends and Associates,

In March, Pat DiNizio of the rock group, The Smithereens, asked me to help bring his vision to life. His idea, the New York Metro Alternative Film and Music Festival was an incredible idea---one which I had to get involved with.

As you already know, Bringing music and film together has been something I've been doing for the past several years. The GEMS conferences have been a labor of love for me and of course, they will continue! However, I felt the need to immerse myself in the production of this cutting edge and important series of events which are coming into New York City during the Halloween weekend.

That's right. Three incredible days---Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 29, 30 and 31st, and not just conferences and seminars---but concerts at Irving Plaza (October 29th) and one at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall (October 30th,) and considering that the Festival is the weekend prior to Election Day---well--you never know who's going to show up!

If you loved GEMS you're going to love this event----and we hope that you will be a part of this significant event.

I hope to see you at the Festival.

Details about participating follow this text.

Sincerely,
