Ian... I may be missing something... seriously. What is happening? I don't mean as far as Charlie, Sharon and Ed.... They have spoken out for years on a number of issues and have always been courageous so this does not surprise me as far as they are concerned....

I know about the airplane bit hitting the pentagon that totally vanished in plain sight... but what else am I missing besides warning signs that were ignored by our administration?

No need for a lo--ong story just refresh me a bit.... and I am serious. I was ill and in the hospital a few times recently so missed out on quite a lot of the emails and have not had time to research....

thanks..
peace,
barbara

Hopefully, many of you are aware that actor Charlie Sheen has come out strongly for the 9/11 truth movement, in two interviews with 9/11 truth leader Alex Jones, which were picked up by one of CNN's showbiz programs, which then interviewed Jones. This is the first time that a serious discussion of alternative theories of the events of 9/11 has been aired on major media. Indeed, the person who interviewed Jones, CNN host AJ Hammer, has now himself come out in personal support of the movement. (Links to the audio of both interviews, plus the CNN video segment, follows this e-mail.)

As of yesterday, both Ed Asner and Sharon Stone have voiced their strong public support for Sheen's statements and position. Others are expected to join over the next days and weeks.

You might ask why anyone would or should listen to or believe actors, especially on such a controversial issue. There is a good answer to this. If you or I come out and make controversial public statements about such an issue, we have little to lose: we will either be ignored or simply pegged as "conspiracy nuts." However, these are major actors who are putting their careers on the line by coming out so publicly on such a controversial issue. Not only can they lose their fans and viewer bases, but the industry could "blackball" them, or simply consider them "too high risk" for joining the "conspiracy nuts."

In other words, these actors have nothing to gain - and much to lose - by voicing their strong support of the 9/11 truth movement. Their voices are most welcome, and one can only hope that because they are such high-profile people, the issue of 9/11 truth will now become something that others - both high-profile persons and average citizens, many of whom are afraid of being lumped in with the "conspiracy nuts" - will no longer be afraid to discuss, or express their feelings about, alternative beliefs re the events of 9/11.

There may not be a "smoking gun" re 9/11, but at least now there is a chance that much of the evidence that has been suppressed, ignored or ridiculed will come to light and be made part of the discourse - maybe even leading to a groundswell of public outrage. And legitimate, widespread outrage - about the lies, deception, stonewalling and spin re 9/11 - has been in short supply.

Peace.
