As a former PR person, I cannot help but notice the conspicuous omission of the two primary "rules" of PR, which go to the heart of this bizarre story: (1) "The only bad PR is no PR," and (2) "I don't care what you say about me as long as you spell my name correctly." Given those two rules, the whole concept of anyone being "upset" or adversely affected by "bad PR" is absurd...
