Selects Alito for Supreme Court

President Bush today will name appeals court Judge Samuel A. Alito to 
the U.S. Supreme Court at 8 a.m., according to a source close to the 
White House. Alito, 55, serves on the Philadelphia-based U.S. Court of 
Appeals for the Third Circuit.
