I agree with your analysis Cheese. 
Right to the point, especially about the many Moms, Grandmother's being in jail for a simple joint.

Our criminal system is in shambles and so are our people. Look at Watts near Los Angeles-it's becoming a hot bed again-no jobs...what are people to do?

The right is trying to convince Americans about history that has never happened by rewriting history; they are saying that the 'robber barons' never happened. That the Civil War was blah. blah, blah...

Sorry, it happened and is happening again!

Get bacjk to basics...Cindy is starting the movement-get going...Karl Rove's time will come up again...New evidence showing that bombing of Iraq started in September before Bush went to the Congress...

Not a good stat.  That is over 2 million people, and those are only the ones
that have been caught!!  What does that tell you about American society. I
would hate to have a pollster give a real ratio on the real % of criminals
in America. Their math tends to be very correct. (within 1 or 2 %)  Point
being, America has the most/greatest internal crime ratio than any other
county in the world, WHY?

That's a lot of questions there.  Next time start at The Top, from whence
all the "criminal gang" activity sprang from originally, then work your way
down to The Bottom.

You need to come and live in an apartment in Harlem or somewhere for about
10 to 20 years and then re-write your post there.

You need to move to America to live for a while.  People "outside America"
and outside the actual realm of all these "American Happenings" are doing
just that, looking at it all from the outside and then commenting, just like
a lot of Americans themselves continue to do.

They can't imagine why or how anyone would ever want to or be forced into a
gang or criminal activity in America the Beautiful.  Not for a second.

They've never heard of Robber Barons, or if they have, they have forgotten
them just like they have forgotten most of "American History" if they ever
even knew it.

I'm not saying that things like crystal meth or gangs are great things, just
that people don't understand how things happen and then comment on them.

All this crap is "Trickle Down" from The Top of America.

People are always saying stuff like "don't blame society or one's
environment for criminal behaviour etc etc etc", when in Actual Reality,
Society, Government, "One's Environment" that has been so thoughtfully
engineered, have either created the conditions under which things like
crystal meth and criminal activity become natural reactions, or sat on their
asses and simply watched it all occur and did nothing whatsoever to neither
prevent it nor fix it.

If you yell loud enough perhaps you can get Americans in an uproar over
Crystal Meth, like they are in an uproar over Marijuana.

Yet, no matter how loudly you yell you will never get them to even blink at
things like 100,000 dead civilians murdered in the name of America.

Drugs and The Bad Guys.  Bad stuff, sure.  Nothing compared to what The Top
has engineered.

I put it to you again, how on Earth do you think things like "Drugs and The
Bad Guys" came to be if the creme de la creme of The Top of America did not
either create it or sit by and watch as it was created......?

People like robber barons etc etc etc plundered America from sea to shining
sea for centuries.

One of the great results has been drugs and the bad guys, gangs and criminal
activity.

The poor American's answer to terrorism and starvation and you fucking name
it.

The guy has 6 kids to feed, they lay him off at the plant, nobody will hire
him but McDonalds, he turns to crime.

You blame him....?    Really...?    Him and his "inadequacies" etc and
nobody else....?

You need to spend several years in America in some of the inner city
ratholes that robber barons etc created over centuries here, or now, it has
reached all the rural areas, you can just go to those and live for a while
to get the same picture almost.

It, in all cases, wasn't "Oh, let's invent criminal activities, gangs, and
drug dealing because we want to", but rather "What are our options that The
Systems Of America have left us....?"

They turned around, and there were very little options, unless they wanted
to go on food stamps and welfare.

Jobs are decreasing and being shipped overseas.

The economy is a piece of crap, unless of course one already has a piece of
the Wall Street etc pie and can sit comfortably back and spit on the vermin
at the bottom, all those nasty criminals.

I'm not saying that all criminals are *not* nasty ruthless murderous people,
in one way or another, but that rather there are TONS of people who in their
limited education perhaps, their limited perspectives, their limited
environments, their engineered lives, their limited options, turned to a
life of crime, just to be able to feed and house their fucking family.

But it is those people who are to blame, not The Top, the creme de la creme,
of America, who REALLY helped to literally create, engineer, foster, and
promote such "crime breeding environments" to this very fucking day.

Bullshit.

And The Top will continue to do so far into the future.

The American prison system remains one of the most lucratively profitable
systems in this entire country.

It is not run strictly to put bad people in there for rehabilitation etc
purposes.

But rather to make sure their rooms will always be full.

The more people in prison in America, the richer these people get, "bad
people" or no "bad people".

I could ramble on for quite a time on this subject, but I'm rather sure
there are several other people who could ramble on about it much more
intelligently and informatively than myself.

I did, however, notice a missing statistic in your post about how many
people, mothers, grandmothers, etc, those nasty criminal ruthless types, are
In American Prisons for simple Marijuana, or just for being in the same room
when a bust went down.

It's a huge number.

Oh well, regardless, my rambling is over, come live in America for a half
century and get a real feel for it.

You will probably finally figure out how all The Systems at The Top of
America are specifically engineered to make The Bottom break its balls just
to survive, in many instances, and at about just the same time that we
finally elect a black person to the Presidency.

Sentenced to live a few decades in America, really taking a look around
personally, and writing it all down, should at the very least give anyone
from other countries something really neat to take back with them when they
leave to show to their neighbors.

Other than just the same old dribble of look at all the ruthless horrible
Americans.

All us ruthless horrible Americans, at least here at The Bottom, have had
lots and lots and LOTS of help from the really neat cool kind people at The
Top of America to just be able to hold our heads up from this slime and
smile our toothless smiles.

For Centuries.

But everyone has basically forgotten how "all this bad stuff" got here in
the first place, and perhaps it should just all be forgotten just like how
we got into Iraq.

Just like "Iraq", they don't really want to talk about it and play "The
Blame Game".

There wouldn't be enough prisons in America to hold the people at The Top
after they got through playing it.

Therefore, we at The Bottom, regardless of our inclinations toward crime
etc, will remain the butt of their finger pointings until the end of America
itself, and under the current Systems, Laws, Etc's of Our Beautiful America,
we will continue to fill the prisons of this land rather than those who
continue to create the environments that breed such things.  You remember
them, they're at their ranches right about now sucking up the good life
trying to get rid of food stamps, welfare, social security, and all
ecological life on earth and indoctrinate future generations here as to the
benefits of remaining obedient brainwashed lemmings bred for consuming an
endless stream of witless products as we're out trying to get Marijuana to
cancer and AIDS patients.

Unless of course, the Canadians come and save us.

But wait a second, they're in Iraq fighting for Freedom and God too.

p.s.:  This was not an endorsement of either crystal meth or crime (which
remains rampant at The Top of America), but rather just a stab at trying to
get people to think of how it all came to be, rather than just pointing
their fingers, as people are endlessly wont to do, and exclaiming "Oh look,
the bad people", and never asking "How did this all happen....?  Who created
it....?"  Crime, drugs, and gangs have been around for Centuries.  So have
the Fat Cats at The Top who have merrily bred and purposely engineered it
into Society itself.  One never seems to hear anything about those people
though.  Just the people in prison who have fallen prey, for one reason or
another, to the Systems these assholes have carefully built.  A "discussion"
nobody will ever hear on the floor of The Congress Of The United States Of
America.  Inbetween them shooting the finger at America Itself, there is no
time left for such folly.
