[Mb-civic] Police (State) Action Against Bike Riders

These three articles appeared in successive issues of The New York Times. I
am sending them to show not only how much closer we come to a police state
every day (especially in New York City), but also how the police are now
brazen enough to blatantly TELL everyone that they are going to engage in
questionable activities, and then actually engage in them - and there is
little political or legal outcry. Apparently, "1984" is simply 20 years
late...

Peace.
