This is why I hate politics.

Parties and people grabbing at anything to suit their needs.

Even something as subtle as layout and even sending this out period has a
purpose.

It's all so pathetic and so is sending this stuff.

Who served now 'matters.'

Where was this email and the SOB who sent this out in 1992 or 1996 when 'it
didn't matter'?

I notice that at the top of the GOP list was who did not serve, but barely
any Democrats or liberal press people (at least 85%) who did not serve
appear in the list, much less at the top.

Having no interest in looking at this, I had to run a search to find Clinton
(presumably he was in Canada frustrating the search engine). Why he not at
the top of the Democrats as was the most important GOP?

By the way, McCain and Carter honorably went to Annapolis and that was not
mentioned, and how about Colin Powell?

As long as we are straddling fences and making implications, why not comment
about Bob Kerrey's little problem in Vietnam that he acknowledged and ended
his higher political aspirations?

It's all crap and this is why America including myself, is so cynical.

I will again cut and paste something I sent you earlier that sums these dog
and pony shows.

Candidate addresses the people - babies (awww, tear in eye), soldiers who
came before us and died for us (sigh, hat off, hand over heart), jobs
(hooray), apple pie and baseball (go America!), better economy (cheer),
strong defense against them (yeah, 'take that' them), and my lousy opponent
(boo hiss), so in conclusion, shucks (get the middle American Mr. Smith goes
to Washington fan/vote with that word), vote for me (insert name and party
here).

I forgot to add.manipulated fact about my opponent (boo hiss), manipulated
fact about me (cheer)

Hum bug!
