......i am aware that the actual forces taking part in this calamity are not all christians, however, the commander-in-chief, one george ww3 bush, certainly claims to be a devout christian...the troops are all fighting under his banner and for his, somewhat misguided, beliefs.therefore, however unfortunate this maybe, they are all in the same category.. now re "cowboys"..in the u.k. the word cowboy has somewhat different connotations than in the u.s. we refer to any one who is not very good at their job as a 'cowboy', hence cowboy builders, cowboy plumbers etc etc...now george ww3 bush is the epitomy of the u.k. perception of a cowboy president.....eleven years ago i wrote an article for "polo magazine' that was titled "cowboys and horsemen" this article caused absolute uproar within the u.s. polo world...i included the chambers dictionary definition of 'cowboy'... i even received death threats !!how has 'cowboy' come to this??? for anyone trained in horsemanship in the u.k. or ireland it is painfully obvious...to an american not so...i include a real cowboy in my list of friends, a really nice guy, lots of fun to be around, but his horses were appalling, well fed; but all had terrible legs....horses are not cows and cannot be treated as such.....the behaviour of ww3's troops in iraq also personifies the u.k. "cowboys"....indiscriminately firing off round after round and yelling in obvious enjoyment....all very sad and very true.....mad baker
