.......the history of thanksgiving as i understand it [please correct me
someone if i am in error}...the first pilgrims to arrive and settle on
the north american continent ended up in big trouble when winter
arrived...they had no food...the local native americans kindly supplied
them with provisions for the winter [very neighbourly]...the pilgrims
returned this kindness by taking all the native american lands by force
of arms and trickery, moving them to reservations where most of them
still live and are abused by the very people who celebrate
thanksgiving....and iraq is a surprise ???
